Who is Coach Cristin:
Cristin Van Driel is a nationally recognized and certified personal trainer, sports performance coach, U.S. Track and Field Certified Coach, motivational speaker, and founder of Ultimate Stamina Consulting; a leading and fast growing coaching, training, and consulting business.

Cristin has been improving the lives of her clients for years. Cristin's mission is to motivate and educate her clients to allow the achievement of established goals. She enjoys working with ALL AGES AND ABILITIES; young kids to seniors and beginning exercisers to elite athletes. Her extensive knowledge in the field comes from years of personal experience (16+ years competing at a high level), opportunity to learn from the best, and certifications obtained in related fields.

Cristin is a competitive distance runner and races distances from 3000m to Marathon, enjoys snow shoeing, cycling, riding horses, and playing the occasional game of tennis.

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS

I have not run before but would like to start. Do you work with all ability levels?

Yes, over the years I have worked with individuals of all ability levels and athletic backgrounds who were successfully able to transition from a walking program to running.


Do you coach locally and via internet?

Yes, I have several coaching packages available for local athletes and those living in other areas of the United States via internet and email/phone consultation. Athlete and coach will stay well connected though weekly telephone consults and email.


What is your coaching philosophy?

Ultimate Stamina believes in personalized programs that focus on the individual needs of each athlete. The goal is to improve the athlete's underlying weaknesses while building on individual strengths. Through a planned and periodized approach, athletes remain healthy allowing greater training consistency.

No single program works for everyone. I will take all your specific information about your past and current level of fitness, any known injuries, and your strengths and weaknesses and design a program just for you. Your program will address your individual needs and fit into your lifestyle.

I strongly believe in aerobic strengthening and conditioning to build a solid base. It is only after that base is established that you are ready to begin specific training targeted at clearly defined goals.

The training you will receive will provide long-term development based on physiological principles and years of experience.

Most importantly, I want to teach you how to make running part of your lifestyle that returns healthy benefits and allows you the opportunity to run at the highest level!


What do we discuss during the initial consultation?

During the initial phone consultation we learn about each other. You have the opportunity to discuss with me the specifics about your sports/athletic background, your events and fitness goals, any personal and professional commitments that may impact the time you have to train, and relate any other information you believe would be relevant and helpful. I encourage you to ask any questions you wish about your training program, your personal sport specific training programs, nutrition, injury prevention, etc. During the consult I will also provide feedback regarding your current training plan and highlight how I can be of assistance to you


Upon becoming a client, what is discussed during our weekly telephone consults?

I will go over the results of your workouts and discuss the overall plan along with the workouts for the upcoming week. Adjustments to your training schedule can be made, if necessary.


What happens if I have an important question or concern prior to our next consult?

No problem, just send me an email or give me a call and I will respond within 24 hours or less.


I only need a training schedule. Do I still need to complete the athlete history form and have an initial consult (via phone)?

Yes, by completing the athlete history form you provide us with the information necessary to customize your training plan and the ability to address your specific goals and needs. The personalized training plan can include other races you would like to do as well as times where training might be difficult due to family vacations and business obligations.


How are your services different from others?

I promise to always provide the highest level of personal attention to every client I coach. Each person is an unique individual with a unique set of circumstances including; “training” age, abilities, fitness levels, life commitments, time availability, injury history, etc. Thus, no two training programs are alike.
